Program Options
We have three distinct classrooms separated by age, which enables our teachers to group and reach students at similar developmental stages. Even still, teachers develop activities that allow students to engage and learn at their ‘just right’ level – we call this scaffolding. Common centers in each classroom are: Writing, Dramatic Play, Blocks, Sensory, Art/Painting, and Library. In our Sunbeam classroom, students have additional centers: Science, Pets and Technology.
Each class spends time outside each day in our play yard where the learning continues. Students tend to the garden, stretch, climb, ride and swing. Time outside is critical to success inside the classroom!
Come summer time, we offer Summer Camps for our preschool students ages 3-5 and for our graduates, ages 5 – 8. We take full advantage of the natural resources and bounty here in the Northwest!

Tuition and Fees
- Returning Student Registration Fee – $25/year non-refundable
- New Student Application Fee – $100 non-refundable one-time fee
- Tuition Schedule:
- First tuition payment is due upon enrollment
- Monthly Payments August 1, 2025 through June 1, 2026
- Tuition is based upon a full school year’s operating expenses and consideration has been given to holidays and vacation periods.
- Tuition is for the school term (Sept-June). Enrolling at A Child Becomes is a minimum commitment of 1 year.
- Sibling discount for those who are enrolled simultaneously. Discount of 10% applies to 2nd and 4th child.
- Annual Supply and Snack fee is now included in tuition and will not be billed separately.
- Summer camps are enrolled and billed separately.

Caterpillars begin the year on an abbreviated schedule to allow our youngest students to adjust to coming to school.
- First week T/TH = 8:30-9:30am
- Second week T/TH = 8:30-10:30am
- Third week T/TH = Full class time 8:30-11:30am
**Early Drop-off students may still be dropped off at 8:00am
